OUR PARTNERS

Mulberry University Technical College offers us the physical resources that we need: a design studio which will be our main base, along with the use of a theatre, technical equipment and a costume workshop. Our trainees will also be able to try out live staging and clothing ideas with Mulberry’s Production Arts Academy.

Gbolahan Obisesan is Artistic Director and Joint CEO of Brixton House,

a new state-of-the-art theatre with two performing spaces, located in the heart of Brixton.

Classes with Gbolahan at this venue will focus on how designers work with actors, directors and writers.

Our trainees will also have opportunities for work placements there.

Advanced costume study will be taught at The School of Historical Dress. Professor Jenny Tiramani, Melanie Braun and Claire Thornton teach through evidence-based reality of how people dressed.

The National Theatre will offer in-kind support by allowing our trainees access to their rehearsals, technical departments and design studio. The idea is for each trainee to be taught by specialists working at the highest end of their respective disciplines.
